Fun, fantastic – not-to-be-missed – garden furniture!

The biggest news at Southwest Gardener is the arrival of hand-made mosaic tile garden furniture. This is without a doubt the most fabulous garden furniture we have ever seen. It’s truly a work of art.

The mosaic designs in this collection are truly unique because you can mix and match the pieces. The motifs are bright, bold flowers, birds, bees, and bugs. Each piece is framed in colorful iron and then painstakingly decorated with hand-cut tiles. We’ve posted pictures of some items here on the web, but you can call or e-mail with questions. Or better yet, stop by and see them!

Here’s a description of what we’ve got. This company ships to us every six months so when we’re sold out we’ll be happy to take orders for the next delivery. But don’t wait, come sit at the tables and lounge in the benches.

Dining Tables - There are lively 36-inch round tables decorated with flowers, ladybugs and butterflies in a bright blue or green background. Or choose the larger 44-inch round. There’s also a birdhouse decorated 28-inch bistro table that is perfect for breakfast inside or on the patio.

Benches – We are in love with the Dragonfly Loveseat. The backrest is two dragonflies formed in iron and mosaic and the seat is a solid mass of frogs and lily pads. The perfect pond scene! This bench is 44 inches long – nice and roomy - with comfy curved arms. The Butterfly and Flower Loveseat is a full 48 inches long with a big, airy butterfly as its back. Flowers decorate the seat. Put this in your wildflower meadow and just sit back and relax. There’s a third loveseat with a more traditional back and a lovely floral motif that’s perfect for the patio.

Chairs – The ample chairs each have a different bug as the backrest: bees, ladybugs, dragonflies and butterflies. All chairs coordinate with the tables.

Nested Tables – Check out these sets of rectangular nesting tables that are perfect side pieces for your patio or inside your home. They are sturdy and go well with the chairs.

Birdbath – We couldn’t help ourselves, we had to order the whimsical birdbath. It’s the perfect playground for the warblers and finches.

Steppingstones – We get so many requests for steppingstones and, honestly, we don’t find a lot out there that we like, but these are just perfect. Some are round, some are in the shape of an insect, but they are all colorful and will add joy and whimsy to any setting.

We’re setting up a mini showroom with a few pieces on our front patio (that’s the 15th Ave. side of the store) so stop by and browse and sit and take in all the color. Then drop inside to see the rest!
